Wisconsins "Dirty 14"

In the midst of all the political squabbling in Wisconsin, I would like to remind my fellow Badgers that these "Dirty 14" Democrats need to be removed from power.

They abandoned their public responsibilities and duties and fled the State rather than face an embarrassing loss on a political vote. They lack the courage to lead. They have no business being involved in government.

They should be punished by voters accordingly.

If I was Governor Walker, I would have had them arrested.

Rick Perry attends "The Response"

Today is the day!

Governor Rick Perry has invited Americans to join in his event called "The Response". A call for a day of prayer and fasting.

Because this event is so fundamentally Christian, it makes liberals heads explode.
I couldn't be happier. The Governor and his fans have every right to gather and worship as they see fit.

The event is streaming live right now on TheResponseUSA.com!

I expect this day to be historic. I expect that the Governor may announce his run for President while at this event. If he does, it is the beginning of the end for Barack Obama.

Leaving the United Nations Behind

One of my Facebook friends made a good point today by mentioning how awful the United Nations has become. What started out as a good idea has pretty much become a bad joke.

There are too many countries in this world that are run by madmen and dictators. In the UN they get an equal vote to America or Great Britain or Israel. That fact, in itself, is stunning.

Hugo Chavez came to America to address the UN and called George W. Bush "the devil". The other UN member nations? They responded with polite applause.

This same UN is filled with representatives from Arab countries who continue to denounce Israel as a "monster" and an "occupier".

This is the same Israel that gives the Arab citizens in their country more freedom than in any other Arab country on earth.

My plan, should it ever come to pass, is to have the United States withdraw completely from the United Nations. The wording of our withdrawal documents will state that we are leaving because the organization is "filled with lawless dictators who do not respect human rights".

The document would also explain that the UN has become Anti-American, Anti-Western, Anti-Semitic, and Anti-Democratic. There are rogue states who are allowed voting privileges when they do not allow their own citizens to vote!

Chew on that one, liberals.

I would suggest they move the United Nations to Brussels.

The mad dictators can have their little America Hate-fest over there.

We have no need for it.

The Bigger Picture

Yesterday, I was watching some of the liberal leftist media -- as I sometimes do --- to get a read on what they are up to.

I found it humorous how most of them felt the Debt Ceiling budget deal was a total loss for their side. Funny, but Conservatives felt the same way.

Rachel Maddow was hilarious...but I don't know how her brain can survive spewing so many contradictory statements. She called Obama the "Deportation President". Yeah.... right.
The same President Obama who invited his illegal immigrant aunt to his inauguration ceremony? Yeah... I'm sure illegal immigrants are terrified of him.

Maddow, Ed Schulz, and Chris Matthews spewed nonsense all day log. They talked about how these "cuts" would cost about 1 - 2 million jobs. That's funny. Do they remember hearing Obama say that the "stimulus" would stop unemployment from going over 8%? Yeah...anything that government says they can do or control....you have to take that with a grain of salt.

I wouldn't get too excited about their predictions.
Remember when Y2K was going to be the end of the world? Yeah...

What bothers me about liberals is how they fail to see the bigger picture.

The problem with government being in charge of your health care?

Government is in charge of your health care.

Government having control over your health care is just government having another way of control over you.

Can you imagine being denied surgery because you voted for the "wrong" candidate in an election?

Oh, that could never happen here..they say.

Yeah. Sure. Uh huh.

Give it some time.

Government being in control of education is another terrible idea.

Look at how they run the DMV and the Post Office.

The government once seized and took over a brothel in Nevada due to tax issues.

The government bankrupted the place within two years.
Basically, they couldn't sell booze and women to truckers in the desert.

And they want to control health care and education?

God help us....

Giffords returns, Tea Party furious with deal

A very interesting day yesterday, politically speaking.

Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords returned to the House of Representatives for the first time since being wounded in an assassination attempt.

If you see the photo above, Giffords return was marred by the antics of Los Angeles-based Congressional Representatives Brad Sherman and Janice Hahn. They couldn't resist the pull of national publicity and both crammed their mugs into the frame next to Giffords on the national newsfeed.

These Democrats... it never stops with them.

Technically, I don't agree with Giffords returning and voting on important legislation. She has had a major brain injury and her level of impairment is unknown to her voters. If she were an airline pilot, a surgeon, or a police officer, she wouldn't be returning to work. I think her voters deserve some type of certification that she is still capable...but that is up to them to fight over.

The votes that were cast were a betrayal of the Tea Party.... allowing more debt and reckless behavior from the US Government.

We are only a few years away from becoming Greece at this point.

But it is good to know there were some Republican heroes who voted no.

Courageous Bachmann says no

Michele Bachmann continues to impress voters with her courageous stances against Barack Obama and those who support him.

Bachmann is flying from a campaign stop in Iowa to Washington today to oppose the new debt ceiling plan.

She and some of the more Conservative members of the House may be able to hold the line and to scrap this brokered deal.

Her own statement says it quite eloquently.

"Mr. President, I'm not sure what voice you're listening to, but I can assure you that the voice of the American people wasn't the voice that compelled Washington to act," she said in a statement after the president announced a deal with congressional leaders Sunday night. "It was you that got us into this mess, and it was you who wanted a $2.4 trillion blank check to get you through the election."

"This isn't the deal the American people 'preferred' either, Mr. President," Bachmann said in her response. "Someone has to say 'no.' I will."
