On September 11th, 1683, the King of Poland led his famous "Winged Hussars" in the largest cavalry charge in human history. Over 20,000 Hussars smashed into the Muslim forces that were surrounding the City of Vienna, Austria and routed them -- ending the Muslim attempt to conquer Europe. The victory saved millions of Christian Europeans from death and/or slavery at the hands of the Muslims.
The Muslims have never forgotten this date. Nor will they.
