On Election Eve

In 2000, Chicago-area voters rejected Barack Obama and elected Bobby Rush to be their Congressman from Illinois' 1st District. But a short eight years later, some of those very same voters who had previously rejected Barack Obama would help elect him President of the United States. In 1994, voters in Massachusetts rejected Mitt Romney and re-elected Ted Kennedy as their United States Senator. But a short eight years later, some of those very same voters who had rejected him before would help elect Mitt Romney as Governor of Massachusetts. And tomorrow, many of those same voters who rejected him in 1994 will cast a ballot in hopes of making Mitt Romney the 45th President of the United States.

Tomorrow I will face incumbent Congressman Adam Schiff in the 28th Congressional District of California. He has the strategic advantage of having held his current political office for ten years and he also has a few million dollars in his election campaign account, which doesn't hurt. Being that about 70% of the voters in my district cast a vote for Barack Obama in 2008, it is difficult for me to envision a situation in which they would choose a Conservative Republican over a Liberal Democrat.

In my campaign, I presented straight Conservative viewpoints and ideologies to the voters. I did not take it easy on Adam Schiff, and he definitely noticed.

Win or lose tomorrow, I am proud of what I have already accomplished in this race. In my previous two attempts at elected office, I didn't even make it past the primaries. This time I was victorious on June 5th, and made it onto the ballot in a General Election for the first time ever. I accomplished many new milestones on this journey, including having my first televised debate with a political opponent. And there are many more to come. Tomorrow I am going to achieve new personal records for myself. I will receive the highest number of votes ever in my political career. I will also receive the highest percentage of the vote I have ever had in my career.

It probably won't be enough to defeat Adam Schiff, but I don't view political defeat as the end of the world. Sometimes you have to present yourself to voters a few times before they finally see the wisdom of choosing you. I have not yet achieved my goal of becoming an elected leader in this country. But I sense that I am making positive steps in that direction. Every election for me has been a positive step up the ladder. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney didn't let previous election defeats deter them from trying again, and I certainly won't let a defeat tomorrow stop me from trying to win in the future.

Eventually, voters changed their minds about Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. After rejecting them in the past, they eventually saw their way to electing them to some of the highest political positions in this country.

I hope that someday in the future, the voters will have this same change of heart about me.

Romney's closing argument

I liked the part where he said he wouldn't spend four years blaming his predecessor.

That was a good line.

I also liked that he talked about jobs and growth and the future.

I'm not a big fan of his, but I will be voting for him.

Hopefully, he can turn things around.

Obama has been terrifying the job creators. I know this for a fact.

The Two Faces of Adam Schiff

In a previous blog post, I mentioned that I had thought up two specific situations that proved that Adam Schiff was a phony. A career politician that will say and do anything to stay in elected office.

Schiff admitted to me at the debate that he has no plans to leave his Congressional seat. He plans to be there for life. I certainly hope that the voters will disagree with him on Tuesday. People with those type of entitlement attitudes tend to be horrific leaders, given enough time.

But Adam Schiff has recently hit a new high, or a new low, depending on how you look at it.

Adam Schiff has been so phony, so incredibly two-faced and supplicant to various special interest groups that he has earned the endorsement from two groups of people who should be mortal enemies.

The first endorsement didn't surprise me.

CAIR...the Council on American Islamic Relations.. endorsed Schiff in District 28 over me.

No surprises there, as I have been very public about my rather dim view of Islam and its followers.
Muslims who follow Islam seek to destroy all other cultures and religions on earth. They seek to establish a Global Caliphate and subjugate all human beings on the planet to their rule.

I'm not a fan of this faith, or its goals. To be quite honest, any political organization with half a brain should reject this religion whose followers continually publicly espouse a fanatical, genocidal hatred of Jewish people.

I have been very public about my belief that we can never truly be friends with people who have these values. I personally don't want to be friends with any country that openly expresses a desire to harm the people of Israel. However, that is no problem for Congressman Schiff. His morals are a bit more flexible than mine. The Muslims feel that Schiff is their man...that he is working towards their goals.

The Muslims support Schiff, and view him as an ally to their cause.
Being that Adam Schiff is Jewish himself, I find the whole thing very disturbing - on many levels.

Amazingly enough, Schiff has also earned a second endorsement from a group that has very opposite interests.

The Armenian National Committee of America, or ANCA, has endorsed Schiff in District 28 also. The amazing thing here is that they also believe Schiff is working towards their goals.

The Armenians, who are Christians, have very different goals from the Muslims. The Muslims in Turkey committed genocide against the Armenians...very specifically because they were Christians...and nearly obliterated their entire culture...killing over 1.5 million Armenians from 1915-1923. As a result of the genocide, a large number of Armenians are refugees, scattered across various countries of the world....many of them living in Glendale, California, which is part of my District.

Schiff has earned their favor by being politically pliable. By pandering to them and saying to them that he seeks justice for the Armenians from the Muslims in Turkey. His pandering to the Armenian community is very similar to how Adam Schiff is currently pandering to the gay community of West Hollywood. Schiff is telling the gays that he supports gay marriage, even though previously as a State Senator, he had absolutely no record of writing legislation for gay marriage. The subject of gay marriage was not politically trendy 10 years ago when he served in the State Senate.  Back then it couldn't buy him any votes, so he didn't give a damn about it.

Me? In sharp contrast to Adam Schiff, I have marched right into West Hollywood City Council chambers and told them that I don't support gay marriage now...nor will I be supporting it in the future. This behavior certainly didn't buy me any votes...because unlike Schiff, my values are not flexible.

I understand ANCA choosing Schiff over me because Schiff has been pandering to them for about a decade. Of course, no results for them, but plenty of promises and hot air. Me, on the other hand, I openly told ANCA that the past was the past, and that the Muslims in Turkey had no regrets about what they had done to their ancestors...and that their bigger worry was not what the Muslims had done in the past, but what they planned to do to them in the future. Of course, this wasn't pandering -- but rather, the truth, and the leaders at ANCA didn't care to hear it.

So...in summary...

The Gays of West Hollywood are supporting Adam Schiff because of his pandering towards gay marriage. Schiff is supported by the gays -- along with the Muslims (who are known for their hostility towards and mis-treatment of gays) and the Christian Armenians (who don't approve of gay marriage).

The Armenians of ANCA are supporting Adam Schiff, along with the Muslims (who slaughtered their ancestors) and the gays (who demand Schiff cater to their non-Christian gay marriage demands)

The Muslims of CAIR are supporting Adam Schiff, a Jewish politician -- along with the Gays of West Hollywood (for whom they have nothing but contempt) and the Armenians of ANCA (whose culture they tried to exterminate).

Wow. Take a minute to wrap your head around that one.

I've been racking my brain for days. How do you beat a candidate who is so morally bankrupt, and so incredibly two-faced that he has everyone supporting him?

I'm starting to think...maybe you don't.

Our long national nightmare is almost over

It has been very difficult for me these last four years, living under the despotism of the Obama Regime. Never in my life could I ever imagine a time where the American President would loot the treasury, seize auto companies, demand our fealty to a twisted government-mandated health care program, show open aggression and hostility to a single religious faith, and declare war on energy companies and the wealthy. We are now living in an Ayn Rand novel, where the government has declared that there are no limits to its powers. I will be sprinting to the polls on Tuesday to make sure that this nightmare comes to an end.

A perfect example of liberal media bias

If you look at the screen capture above, you will see a perfect example of the liberal media bias that is so incredibly pervasive and disgusting here in Los Angeles County.

The supposed "news" website Burbank n' Beyond does all types of coverage of fuzzy warm stories... high school football scores, and "Press Release" journalism. A wonderful gift of free publicity for official Democratic apparatchiks Congressman Adam Schiff and Assemblyman Mike Gatto.

No opposing opinions or viewpoints will be allowed!

If you go to their website and search for my name... like I did yesterday... you will find no hits.

No results. Nothing.

The Republican Nominee for Congress is invisible and does not exist.

One week before a National Election, and there will be no mention of opposing forces to the Politburo.

The media here in the Los Angeles area is so incredibly perverted and twisted when it comes to politics, that any random pedestrian who got hit by a car would get more coverage in the media than a Republican running for Congress in a liberal-dominated county.

I only want 3 things from Barack Obama....

I only want 3 things from Barack Obama....

1) I want him defeated in the election by a large popular vote and electoral count. Something beyond the possible scope of Democratic voter fraud.

2) I want him out of the White House by January 20th without doing all types of petty, nasty, destructive things on his way out of town.

3) I never want to hear about him again.

PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT -- MITT ROMNEY, PAUL RYAN

I have been pretty clear on my blog about not being a big fan of Mitt Romney. He was my last possible choice in the Republican primaries and I think he is the most politically moderate and Big Government Republican we could run in this election.

Having said that, I'll be voting for Romney for 3 reasons: Israel, Iran and The Supreme Court. Barack Obama has clearly shown through his actions that he can't be trusted with leading America when it comes to these three crucial issues.

Hopefully, Romney will surprise me and become a great leader, but due to his Big Government track record, I won't hold my breath.

I'm actually happy to support a fellow Wisconsin native for Vice President. Paul Ryan has a good Conservative soul, and his heart is in the right place, but a decade in Washington has co-opted him to the dark side and he has cast some Big Government votes that I find horrific. Hopefully, he will also grow into his role and do an excellent job.

U.S. SENATE -- ELIZABETH EMKEN

I said in a previous blog post that I didn't support Elizabeth Emken in 2012. I still don't. I think she is a Big Government RINO. But when the option is between her or Feinstein, I suppose it doesn't hurt to throw her a sympathy vote. She is going to get killed by Feinstein...maybe 70-30... because most voters don't know who Emken is and can't identify what goals she is trying to accomplish.

U.S. REPRESENTATIVE -- PHIL JENNERJAHN

It goes without saying that I'll be voting for myself to become the next Congressman from this area. My debate with Adam Schiff exposed him as a Big Government liberal who supports abortion, gay marriage, illegal immigration and trillions in deficit spending. I can't understand why anyone would vote for him. But I'm sure the voters of the 28th District have their own opinions....

STATE ASSEMBLY (50TH DISTRICT) -- RICHARD BLOOM

Wow. Do I ever hate voting for a liberal! But my selection in this race is the lesser (I hope!) of two evils. The other choice, Assembly Member Betsy Butler, has been bombarding voters with mailers telling everyone that she is some type of spiritual combination of Che Guevara and Cesar Chavez. Butler sent me over the edge when she mailed me this nutty flier. I mean...for God's sake...look at that photo! Who is she trying to be ? Sacajawea or Jesus of Nazareth? I can't stand Butler. I hope Bloom will be less destructive...but somehow, I doubt it.

DISTRICT ATTORNEY -- ALAN JACKSON

I originally supported Carmen "Nuch" Trutanich in this election, and I'd be supporting him again here if his campaign manager hadn't bungled the operation so badly. Loyalty is important to me and I don't throw my friends under the bus just because they said or did something that wasn't popular. However, the choice here is between Jackson and Jackie Lacey. Republican groups seem to like Jackson better. I do not know much about Jackson, but I am trusting the judgement of other people who know him better than I do.

STATE MEASURES

30 - NO  -- I don't like any wording of "temporary" with regard to taxes. The State usually finds a way to spend whatever it desires. And it has never been "about the kids" or education.

31 - NO -- Giving more local control over tax funds to people like The Dark Lord and The Cat Whisperer? No thanks.

32 - YES -- Smash the union right to strip payroll money for their slush funds? Ok. I like that.

33 - NO -- It sounds like a good idea, but it is actually cleverly written nonsense from the insurance companies so that they can charge you more. Education measures are never about the kids. And Business measures are never about saving you money.

34 - NO -- Death Penalty Repeal? Nope. No thanks. And our degenerate Mayor Villaraigosa signed the rebuttal to the argument against 34. Tells me all I need to know right there.

35 - NO -- This is an overwhelmingly liberal idea to stop the evil of human trafficking, but it goes too far by including people who are only tangentially related to the crime. Nice idea, but with no accountability or oversight, we can do without it.

36 - NO -- The "Three Strikes" law might be harsh and occasionally be a severe punishment for a minor crime, but it has also kept crime rates very low...even in a bad economy. I see no reason to change or adapt it.

37 - NO -- Food safety. Yeah. It's never about food safety. Liberal meddling and lawsuit hunting.

38 - NO -- It's never about the kids. We spend billions on schools here and get crappy results.

39 - NO -- "Green Energy" proposals do two things. They kill jobs and send businesses fleeing.
