Unicorns & Rainbows

This made me laugh. Not too far fetched.
It is what the left really believes.
Unicorns and Rainbows.

L. A. Daily Journal to publish Recall Declaration

As part of the legal process to proceed with the Recall, we are required to publish the exact wording of the Recall Declaration ( in English and Spanish) in a local newspaper.

We have entered into an agreement with the Los Angeles Daily Journal (www.dailyjournal.com) to carry out the legally required publishing as a public notice of the Recall effort.

Expect to see it in the next few days.

After that requirement is met, we have to prove to the City Clerk that we have published the Recall Declaration.

Then we start negotiating the layout and format of the Recall petitions.
Once that layout is given the green light, the Recall can begin.
Target date is April 20th. We have 120 days to get the signatures.

This corrupt Mayor needs to go.

This is what leadership looks like

At a time when the United States appears to be drifting away from its core values, it is a reassuring thought to know that there are leaders in this world who will not compromise their integrity.

While President Barack Obama has displayed a bad habit of kneeling and kissing the rings of Arab leaders, Benjamin Netanyahu couldn't be more different. Netanyahu has let his enemies know that he seeks peace, but he is willing to destroy any of his neighbors who threaten the existence of Israel.

Our country needs more leaders like this.

Paul Ryan becomes a player for 2012

With this commentary, which destroys all the Democrats nonsense arguments about healthcare savings, Paul Ryan of Wisconsin just became a player on the Republican scene.

Don't be surprised if he is running for President in the GOP primaries in 2012.
He is still far, far behind Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and others - but - there is rapidly building a buzz around him. He's a darkhorse right now, but watch for him in the future.

I think he just became one of the TV networks "go-to guy" for logical, rational, and impressive criticism of this Administration.

Calling Walter Moore!

Maybe Walter was right.

Maybe I should have finished law school.

We are encountering minor technical difficulties with the Recall petition.

I thought I wrote a pretty good draft, and we submitted it on the 18th. Problem solved, right?
Villaraigosa is on his way out. No problem.

But, then I get communication from the City Clerk saying that a few words were not exactly as the Election Code states they must be...so we had to do it over and print up a new draft today.

Back to the Mayor's office. Back to the City Clerk.

I'm not even sure if this will solve the issues, but we are very close.
I think the City Clerk is being overly demanding about the wording.
We have met the legal threshold of letting the mayor know the who we are and why we are recalling him.
We WILL have a draft that meets their requirements and the clock will start.
The RECALL will become reality.

Mayor Sam haters will be left speechless when this hits the media.
Villaraigosa is hated right now. Hated.

Ten Facts Every American Should Know About Democrats’ Final Government Takeover of Health Care | Republican Leader John Boehner

Ten Facts Every American Should Know About Democrats’ Final Government Takeover of Health Care | Republican Leader John Boehner

Craig X. Rubin is headed to jail!

It looks like City Attorney Carmen Trutanich finally got his man, and even though 2009 Mayoral Candidate Craig X. Rubin repeatedly professes his claims of innocence, a judge did not see it the same way.

Rubin reports to jail on Friday. He is expected to do 6 months, but he hopes to be released sooner.

The arrest and prosecution of Rubin has had a chilling effect on the medical marijuana community, with some dispensary owners choosing to shut down or move rather than face legal action.

Rubins predicament is a bit odd, as his charges were actually dropped. He is going in on a probation violation -- just for being arrested. Somehow , this does not seem Constitutional to me.
Kind of similar to the double jeopardy clauses or something.

When asked for a comment, his former political rival David Saltsburg (also known as Zuma Dogg) repeated that this event has "reinforced his belief in Quantum Physics and Karma".

Recall against Villaraigosa has been filed.

The battle begins.....

Adios Payaso!

If everything works out today - and several peoples schedules sync up as we have planned, then today shapes up to be a historic day in Los Angeles politics.

This afternoon, some of the active leaders of Recall City Hall.Org will walk into the City Clerks office on Ramirez Street and deliver their signed Declaration of Recall Petition against Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

Villaraigosa will have a few days to respond. Then we will negotiate the design and format of the Recall Petitions themselves with the City Clerks Office, and finally we can start collecting signatures.

If Recall City Hall.Org is successful in collecting the 240,000 signatures necessary, then Mayor Villariagosa will be facing a recall election and instant removal from his job. For some people in this City, it can't happen fast enough.

Antonio Villaraigosa will be remembered for a legacy of failure. The headline "Failure" above his photo on the cover of Los Angeles Magazine a few months ago is one that stands out in every voters mind.

Villaraigosa promised a lot and talked a big game when he came into office in 2005. He let most people down because it turns out that he was an absolute puppet for the unions. His greedy grabs of cash for them helped bankrupt the City. A slave to their demands, he also never had the courage to actually fire anyone or make cuts in the budget. He has been a colossal failure.

He is an egomaniac who wants to jet around the world at taxpayer expense, get his picture taken with pop stars, and appear on episodes of soap operas -- all at the same time his City is collapsing from mismanagement and neglect. He recently announced that he would have the City cut 4000 jobs...then turned around and hosted a fancy Oscars Party at the Mayors mansion just a few days later and rubbed elbows with his preferred crowd -- a bunch of pop stars and celebrities .

Adios Payaso!

You won't be missed.

Richard "Fredo" Alarcon has 10 days to resign

I laid it out to City Council today.
I denounced Alarcon and his criminal behavior.
I denounced the City Council for allowing his one-man crime wave to continue.

I said the City Council and their incompetence and their corruption was unprecedented.

I asked where their dignity was. Where was their honesty? Their integrity?

When I asked how many of them had demanded Alarcon resign? I heard crickets.....

I reminded listeners about Recall City Hall . Org

I guess I have to start soliciting attorneys to represent voters of the 7th Council District......(sigh)

Final Draft: Petition to Recall Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa

PETITION TO RECALL MAYOR ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA

Committee of proponents who are registered voters of the City of Los Angeles who are proponents of this Recall declaration: Phil Jennerjahn, David Hernandez, Augusto Bisani, Gloria Sheftel, Manny Aldana

STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR PROPOSED RECALL

We, the undersigned voters of the City of Los Angeles do hereby petition The Los Angeles City Clerks Office for redress of our grievances and do hereby request a Recall Election to be held - for cause - against Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

Mayor Villaraigosa has continually ignored the warnings of City financial officers for several years. He is a direct cause of the current financial crisis.

Despite record income over the last five years, Mayor Villaraigosa has led the City down a path of reckless and irresponsible spending that would have been avoided by a more professional and competent City Official.

In the face of a crushing recession, the Mayor actually accelerated spending and hiring to the point that the City may have to declare BANKRUPTCY before the end of 2010. While he is now asking City officials to eliminate 4000 City jobs, the Mayor has selfishly refused to fire a single member of his enormous staff - including 16 Deputy Mayors and 93 personal staff members.

Mayor Villaraigosa is now planning to have the DWP enact a “Carbon Fee” to increase rates to help cover the massive City deficit and to pay for the excessive pay raises given to DWP employees.

Voters of this City cannot afford 3 more years of this. His efforts so far have brought about job losses and financial ruin.

We, the undersigned, do hereby solemnly swear or affirm that the statements made in this document are truthful and factual, to the best of our knowledge.

Richard Alarcon must resign now!

Here is a little heads-up. A warning for Los Angeles City Council Members about what is about to happen here in the City. My organization, RecallCityHall.org, already has the 5 proponents together to file the Recall Declaration against Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. We will be filing against the Mayor in the next few weeks. The Mayor is widely disliked now, even by his former supporters. If we get the 240,000 signatures we need, the Mayor will not survive a recall election against him.

Another issue is the continued criminal behavior of Council Member Richard Alarcon. He is under investigation for a felony - voter registration fraud. Alarcon lied to City Clerks about his address to get elected to the 7th District Council seat. Let's get all the "alleged" nonsense out of the way. Witnesses say there was nobody living in Alarcons phony residence for 3 years. Alarcon lied when confronted about it, then changed his story to some bizarre explanation about how he was afraid of a squatter who had broken into his house.

Here is the gameplan.

I am going to go to City Council and demand that Alarcon resign. I will also ask the police to remove him from chambers. Of course, they won't do that. Then, I am going to warn the City Council that I am going to come back and ask several times that they remove him for his crimes. When they don't do it, I am going to warn them that a class-action lawsuit is brewing over this felony behavior of Alarcon. Voters in the 7th District have the right to be represented by a legitimate Council Member, not a fraudulent one.

A multi-million dollar lawsuit over Alarcons behavior would be very messy and embarrassing for the City to defend when they know they are wrong.

I will also warn them that they will be listed on the Recall web site as "co-conspirators" to the criminal behavior of Alarcon. To date, NONE of the Council members have had the backbone or integrity to stand up and demand his resignation. I will mention that I will be happy to remind the voters of that fact in any of their future runs for office.

"Gangster Government"

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann had the courage to call the Obama Administration a "Gangster Government" because of their irrational and illegal takeover of the auto industry.

Most Americans remain unaware of the dangers of too much government control.

Not Michele...she clearly sees the bigger picture.

The SEIU: Typical Freedom-Hating Liberals

The other day I was at the City Clerks Office on Ramirez Street. I was finalizing the details of the Recall effort with the Clerks Office. On the way out I saw a poster about a Union protest at the Mayors residence (Getty House) and I thought it might be a good idea for me to speak to them about the Recall.

I wrote down the names and numbers of the organizers and called them about it.
On the phone, they agreed that I could talk at the rally for a few minutes.

Of course, with liberals, there is rarely ever any integrity. I showed up to the event on Saturday Morning and started talking to the SEIU leaders. At first they said I could talk...then they started backpedalling. Then they wanted to coach me and edit what I wanted to say. I told them I was there to kick the Mayor out of his job.

They finally said they they hadn't signed on for that, and wouldn't let me talk.
Typical liberals. They are not interested in freedom. Their only goal is to get you to do exactly what they want you to do. The use of force and threats are their only gameplan.

How ironic that they were protesting at the home of a man that the SEIU demanded their members elect just one year ago.
They must feel incredibly stupid right now.
But that is what happens when you have no integrity.
The SEIU leaders told them to go vote for Antonio Villaraigosa - who is going to take 4000 jobs away from them.

How can SEIU members ever trust their leaders again?
If I was in their position, I'd never trust them again.

I voted for John McCain for President in November of 2008.

I voted for Phil Jennerjahn for Mayor of Los Angeles in March 2009.

If I had to do it over again, I'd vote the same way again.

I'm proud of the way I voted. I'll be bragging about it for the rest of my life.

How many SEIU members can say the same thing?

Thank You, President Bush

Recall City Hall . Org

The Recall City Hall website is coming along... it still needs a few tweaks in its development, but it is a continual project that will change as time goes on. We eventually plan to have the profiles of all 90 proponents of the Recall...those who will file against every single elected official in Los Angeles.

The network of contacts is expanding. More and more people are coming on board.
Donations are coming in. Things are looking good.

I have been invited to speak at a Union protest rally at the Mayors residence (Getty House) on Saturday morning, March 6th at 9:00 am.

A crew of documentary filmmakers has decided to start following me around and recording my events.
I think they see the potential of this groundswell movement.

Stay tuned.

CPAC - Day 2

The most important item on my agenda on Day 2 of CPAC was getting down to the Marriott Ballroom early enough (because it often hit capacity) and getting in to see one of my absolute favorites - Congresswoman Michele Bachmann of Minnesota. Bachmann is a Midwesterner like myself and calls it like she sees it.

I will always love her for her comments about the Obama administration taking over GM and shutting down successful businesses based on party loyalties. She was absolutely horrified and called the ObamaAdministration a "gangster government". It was strong talk - it was accurate and true - and I loved it.

Before I saw Michele Bachmann I tried to get into a seminar hosted by "Atlas Shrugs" blogger Pamela Geller. The subject matter was about Islam, a subject that Pamela often covers on her popular blog. She had some strange, additional security steps to get into the room, which leads me to believe she has recently had threats made against her life. That's too bad. I like her and enjoyed meeting her and chatting with her earlier in the conference.

Her room was so crowded I had to stand in the back and left after a while to go see Michele Bachmann.

Michele was great as usual. Funny, charming, and deadly accurate about Obama.
She had the Conservatives loving every minute.

Right after Michele spoke, the Californians stepped to the podium.

Chairman Ron Nehring introduced Steve Poizner and Chuck De Vore.

They all did a great job. Poizner said some new things I hadn't heard from him before.
But unless he spends more money, he is not going to beat Meg Whitman...(who I am not thrilled about.)

De Vore was great. REAL Conservatism. But he is also trailing his opponents and needs to kick it into a higher gear.

This post will be continued in part 2.
