As part of the legal process to proceed with the Recall, we are required to publish the exact wording of the Recall Declaration ( in English and Spanish) in a local newspaper.We have entered into an agreement with the Los Angeles Daily Journal (www.dailyjournal.com) to carry out the legally required publishing as a public notice of the Recall effort.
Expect to see it in the next few days.
After that requirement is met, we have to prove to the City Clerk that we have published the Recall Declaration.
Then we start negotiating the layout and format of the Recall petitions.
Once that layout is given the green light, the Recall can begin.
Target date is April 20th. We have 120 days to get the signatures.
