The Most Important Woman In America

The liberals of this country hate her. The Conservatives love her and can't get enough of her.
Love her or hate her, there is no denying that Sarah Palin has pretty much become The Most Important Woman in America.

She has a second book coming out soon, a guaranteed #1 bestseller.

She has a television series with the Discovery channel about to debut.

If you are a Republican candidate running for office, you pray that Sarah Palin endorses you and swings by your state for a fundraiser.

There isn't much about Sarahs life that isn't going well lately.

And then there's that pesky little issue of an election coming up in 2012.......

Conservatives vs. Liberals

Here is what the National Mall in Washington D.C. looks like after hundreds of thousands attend the "Restoring Honor" rally with Glenn Back and Sarah Palin on 8/28.

And here is what it looks like after the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. You know, all those touchy feely save the earth types.....

The Trouble with Carly

I have already made clear in a previous blog post that I do not intend to vote for Meg Whitman for Governor.
I won't be voting against her, I just feel that she is unjustified in seeking support from the very same people she refused to support in the past. Like George W. Bush, loyalty is extremely important to me. You have to know who your friends are. Your enemies will always self-identify themselves.

Just because Meg Whitman comes around waving her millions of dollars at the voters - no, that doesn't get me interested. I still see a low-quality candidate with a troubling lack of moral clarity.

Now, in addition to the Meg problem, the GOP is now also burdened with Carly Fiorina... yet another candidate I find troubling and difficult to support. Carly, at least, has been a part of the team ...she campaigned for John McCain in 2008 and spoke at the 2008 Republican National Convention. She had been a vocal supporter of McCain in 2008, but to me this was counteracted by the fact that she admitted in her primary debates that she didn't vote for Tom Campbell when he ran against Dianne Feinstein in 2000.

Fiorina claims to hold Conservative views, but she is basically another big-government RINO like Whitman.
When Fiorina runs ads saying things like "Conservatives like us.." I always feel as though I have stepped on an electrical wire. My other complaints against Fiorina...

1) Again, her vote against Campbell is very troublesome.

2) Like Meg Whitman, she refused to vote for many years, showing her true lack of support of other Republican candidates.

3) Fiorina has issued some statements of fawning praise towards Islam, a religion I consider to be a violent and dangerous threat to world security. This leads me to believe her support of Israel would probably be weak or half-hearted.

4) Fiorina was caught on an open mic making shrill comments about Barbara Boxers hair and making backhanded comments about Sean Hannity. Videos like this conjure up the "B" word in the minds of voters.

5) During the primary, Fiorina made some backhanded slaps at Chuck DeVore, who I consider to be a great Conservative. Fiorina's comments made her look petty and condescending.

6) Fiorina has not been vocal enough about her opposition to Sotomayor or Kagan being named to the Supreme Court. Their presence there is a threat to Americas future.

7) Like McCain, Fiorina is a big-government RINO who will vote for TARP and other hideous programs. At least Chuck DeVore would have opposed this type of aggression against taxpayers.

8) Unlike Meg Whitman, who gave money to everyone, including Barbara Boxer, Fiorina has been less than generous when it comes to her wealth. Carly gave to McCain , but almost nobody else.

10) Fiorina has been less than forthcoming about her support or opposition to some crucial subjects.

Now, for all the criticism I heap on Fiorina, there is room for a small amount of praise.
Fiorina claims to be Conservative.

She has expressed Conservative views on a few crucial subjects.
She says she is against gay marriage.
She seems to be against the global warming nonsense.
Fiorina started out as a secretary in the business world and worked her way to the top of the corporate ladder.
That shows me drive and dedication.

Overall, though, I am inclined not to support her.
Much like with Whitman, my litmus test is
1) Are they team players/good Republicans? and
2) Would they support me if our positions were reversed?

With Whitman, the answers were No and No. With Fiorina, I get to 50%. Kind of.

The most pressing reason for voting for Fiorina is because Barbara Boxer is just so awful.

The defeat of Boxer is so crucial, and the possibility of flipping control in the Congress is so intensely important, that I might be forced to pull the lever for a RINO.

Villaraigosa: Damn it feels good to be a gangster

In biographical information on the early years of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, there are sometimes a few passing references to the fact that Villaraigosa had been a gang member in his youth.

Oblivious to this inherent character flaw, voters in L.A. elected him Mayor in 2005, and re-elected him in 2009. The City might never recover financially from this decision.

It has always been my assertion that nothing about Villaraigosa ever changed:

Antonio Villaraigosa never stopped being a gangster.
His crimes just got bigger and more complex.

There is a long list of his crimes against taxpayers...

In 2008, Villaraigosa used public money to pay for himself and his security staff to go traveling around the country as part of the sideshow of the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Clinton wanted to pander to Hispanics, and for some odd reason, thought that Villaraigosa might have some pull there.

Villaraigosa was in full-on gangster mode, likely cutting a backroom deal with Clinton for a job in her Cabinet should she be elected. That pipe dream went up in smoke when Clintons campaign cratered.

Villaraigosa and his staff will argue that they were "doing the work of the citizens of Los Angeles".
Yeah, yeah. Spare me.
Voters in L.A. had no specific interest in seeing Hillary Clinton elected, and in fact, most of L.A. voted for Barack Obama. So Villaraigosas travels were a big fart in the wind and a waste of taxpayer money.

I consider it embezzlement of public funds for a singular selfish purpose: Villaraigosa was promoting his own career ambitions at taxpayer expense.

The massive transfers of funds to Unions and to the CRA have been a total perversion of City government.

The losses have been mind-boggling. Even City lackeys on the fourth floor have no answers.
Giveaways, sweetheart deals... the list goes on and on.

We have a totally, criminally corrupt Mayor and City Council.
We need to seek charges and indictments against them.

At a time when the City is laying off teachers and closing libraries, Villaraigosa makes sure to look out for the financial best interests of his "thug" friends.

Our corrupt Mayor and City Council voted to approve paying nearly $1 million dollars to an ex-con named Ansar Muhammed. Muhammed spent time in prison for selling dope at the corner of Westminster and 6th Avenue. Muhammed is also a follower of Louis Farrakhan.

Allegedly the money is for "anti-gang" activities. I call it theft of taxpayer funds.
The City government has no business turning over funds to an ex-con to supervise anti-crime activities.

Because of behavior like this, our City is approaching a financial catastrophe.
Cutting Hazmat teams, but handing cash to criminals.

Our leaders are morally bankrupt, and can no longer to be trusted as stewards of public funds.

It is my full intention, upon achieving elected power in Los Angeles, to have Antonio Villaraigosa arrested and charged with multiple financial crimes.

I hope the voters in the 4th District will heed my call this March.

Alaskan Thunder!!

News is slowly filtering out of Alaska that Sarah Palin may have helped deal a death blow to the career of Senator Lisa Murkowski. Sarah Palin routed Murkowski's father, Frank , in the 2006 Gubernatorial election.

Now, it seems as if she has loosened the grip that the Murkowski's had on that Alaskan Senate seat.
Frank Murkowski had held the Senate seat from 1980 to 2002, when he was elected Governor of Alaska.

Joe Miller is a little known attorney and judge in Alaska, but with Sarah Palins support, it looks like he will become the next U.S. Senator from Alaska.

Why Meg Whitman won't get my vote

I've made my decision. I cannot support the California Republican Party in this election.

I will not vote for Meg Whitman for Governor.

If that makes me a pariah, then so be it!

As a Conservative, to support Whitman would be a betrayal of everything I stand for and everything I believe in. It would be like asking me to change my religious faith.
It is something I cannot and will not do, under any circumstances, whatsoever.

Our party is struggling because of morally "squishy" leadership.
People who are afraid to take a stand or to make an unpopular decision.
Voters smell that weakness, and usually abandon those leaderless parties at the polls.

Ronald Reagan drew millions of Democrats to the polls to vote for him in the Presidential elections in 1984 and 1988. The reason? He had moral clarity, and voters knew it.
He believed what he believed and he didn't back down from his positions.
George W. Bush was reviled to an unprecedented level by the American left.
So much so that the phrase BDS, or "Bush Derangement Syndrome" became popular in Conservative circles.
Bush was elected President twice, because voters sensed that he had more moral clarity than his opponents, Al Gore or the self-admitted flip-flopper John Kerry.

Voters are now being bombarded with slick ads from Meg Whitman.
Illegal immigration is a crucial component of the California budget catastrophe.
Health care, education, and prison costs for illegal immigrants run into the billions.
Whitman could not come up with a coherent answer as to what her policies would be if she is elected.
She has given conflicting answers on multiples occasions in the past.
To me, this shows a troubling lack of moral clarity.
She is unwilling to come out and say that illegal immigration is wrong.
Or that she will do anything about it.

There are many troubling issues with Whitman.

She gave money to the enemy. She donated money to Barbara Boxer!
To me, this should permanently disqualify her from running for any high-level office for the GOP.
Her supporters will spin it as a business woman trying to survive, but basically it just confirms my fears.

Whitmans only achievement in life has been to rise up through corporate ladders and make a lot of money for herself through stock options. I have no problem with Meg Whitman making a bundle of money in her field of work. That's Capitalism... good for her.

What I do have a problem with is a non-interested, non-involved person with no previous political experience suddenly deciding that they want to be the most powerful political leader in the State of California. That is mind-blowing arrogance and egomania. And it usually ends badly.
It's almost as bad as a few years ago when an arrogant, egomaniac actor with no previous political experience suddenly decided he wanted to be the most powerful political figure in the State of California.
We all know the result of that election. A budget catastrophe and the biggest tax raises in California history!

No, Whitman is a danger just like the current Governor because of her lack of experience. I would prefer a leader who had already served as a Mayor or a County Commissioner. One who had proven Conservative credentials. A leader who respected the Tenth Amendment and would fight for it.
A leader who displays moral clarity and backs it up with his actions.

Instead, we have Meg Whitman.

Meg Whitman doesn't deserve to be Governor because she did not work her way up through the ranks.
Was she ever a Chairman of a local or County GOP organization? Did she walk precincts? Did she make phone calls for or donate money to other GOP candidates? No.

Meg Whitman never gave a damn about any other GOP candidate, ever.

Meg Whitman didn't vote for 28 years!

Was it really so difficult? A five minute drive to her local polling place?
She could have done absentee and voted by mail in 2 minutes for every election.
And now she decides she wants to be Governor of California.

The situation reminds me of a funny story. Years ago, I was living in Northern Spain, and becoming a somewhat decent Spanish speaker out of necessity. One of the funny and colorful idiomatic Spanish phrases I learned there was this:

"La mona, aunque se vista de seda, la mona se queda."

Translated to English, it states that "A monkey, although it may be dressed in a silk suit, is still a monkey."

The correlation?

Meg Whitman -- even though she has over 1 billion dollars of money from Ebay -- is still Meg Whitman.

The candidate who is morally "squishy" and has difficulty defining right and wrong.
The candidate who gave money to our enemies.
The candidate who has no previous experience in government.
The candidate who showed no previous interest in politics.
The candidate who didn't vote for a single other GOP candidate for the last 28 years.

On November 2nd, I will return the favor.
The box next to her name will remain blank.

City bans declawing, yet stiffs Veterinarians on bills

With the Los Angeles City Council... there is always a belief that you have seen it all with them.
They are, after all, the worst of the worst.

And yet, they always seem to find a way to surprise you.

In a troubling sign of the pure madness, and the outrageous hypocrisy that is at the basic nature of the L.A. City Council, comes this little ditty from the L.A. Daily News.

As I mentioned in a previous blog, it seems that World-Class freedom stealers like Paul Koretz can hop on their high horse of moral indignation and fantasize that they have the right to ban the practice of declawing cats.
Because they know what is best for everyone. Especially the little kitties.

That is why Paul Koretz has earned the derisive nickname :

And now comes word from the Daily News that even though moral hypocrites and phonies like Koretz can demand a ban on declawing, when it comes time to pay the bills for neutering animals.. (yes, that's right... the City wants that surgery done on those precious kitties....) ... it seems that the City is not interested in paying their bills for this service.

Local veterinarians are refusing to accept City vouchers for this surgery on cats because the City doesn't pay its bills.

Remember, with hypocrite liberals it is always:
Do as I say...not as I do!

Would someone please inform the limousine liberal from the 5th District that it is now time for him to shut his yap and hop into his limo and drive away..???

Cardenas indictment, Pleasant slams Higby, Cummins still nutty, Sleeper gets paid

Many thanks to former Mayoral Candidate Walter Moore for uncovering more scams and dishonesty from our elected leaders here in L.A. The Spring Street 15 truly are the gang that couldn't shoot straight.

Cardenas has diverted $50,000 of taxpayer money to pay for his sisters company to have a "Low Rider Car Show" ... in Guadalajara Mexico!!
To quote Moore from the article : "WTF!!"

This is exactly the type of cheap pimp trick that gets people investigated and indicted.
And Tony Cardenas is nothing but a cheap pimp.
Sadly, he wishes he could be a career criminal mastermind -- like Richard Alarcon.
Maybe they can share a cell in prison.
Because that's where they are both headed.

Funny how she called him "Son of Sam" in the column, but we'll get to the real killers in just a minute.

Pleasant is actually quite the repulsive person, and doesn't mind alienating people.

In a funny story I wrote on Mayor Sam's blog, I mentioned how Betty Pleasant had told me to tell Michael Higby that "he can kiss my black ass!"... except that I chose to edit out the word "black" because I felt it made Pleasant look bad.

As it turns out, Betty Pleasant doesn't need my help. She clearly doesn't mind making a fool out of herself at every opportunity. Her repugnant column in the Wave newspaper, in which she says "This is black folks business", clearly self-identifies her as being a racist. She talks about race in nearly every sentence, including using the phrase "white media". Pleasant is not pleasant at all. She's a creep.

In other news, it looks like Internet stalker Mary Cummins is up to her usual tricks.
The "friend of the furry" took some serious offense to something I said in a Mayor Sam article many months ago. I made a passing reference to her fraudulent sexual harassment suit against the City and Ed Boks.

As you can see from the photos above, she is quite the sassy young lady.
She didn't care for my comments about her and has haunted internet boards ever since.
I had to end comments on my own blog because she was so nutty.
Thank God she can go unload on me on Mayor Sam... and I don't have to read her comments anymore.

Many other bloggers in the blogosphere have received angry emails from her.
However, we have also received emails from her former co-workers describing how Mary defrauded the City.
How Ed Boks was her "boyfriend" and the lawsuit only came after things went sour between them.
Ugly stuff. Stay tuned for more.....

Speaking of the undeserving getting paid off.....

There is this amazing news from the LA Weekly. One of those things that just makes you so happy that you have a City government looking out for you.

It turns out that the "Grim Sleeper" serial killer Lonnie Franklin Jr. was actually just like City Council Members and living off the taxpayers money.

Yep, the "Grim Sleeper" defrauded the City just like Mary and was getting paid for being disabled.
Evidently, his disability didn't stop him from murdering 10 women in South LA over the last 20 years.

Maybe someday we will have leadership in this City that is actually competent, but I'm not optimistic.

Hopefully public outrage will help get this deviant off the public payroll.
I can't think of a better poster boy for the death penalty. ( I support capital punishment)

I hope a judge and jury fry that scumbag and save the City $1 million in pension payments.

The Sword of David

Israel is going to attack Iran and destroy their nuclear facilities.
They have no choice.
And it is going to happen soon. You can count on it.
(I have sources in Israel, and it is all they are talking about right now.)

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has always distrusted Iran and their leaders. He has made it clear that Irans possession of nuclear weapons would be an "existential threat" to Israel. Irans leaders have long professed a genocidal hatred for Israel, and have threatened Israel on multiple occasions.

Here is some more video of Ahmadinejad, talking about the "Countdown to Israels destruction".

Irans continual verbal aggression and thinly-veiled threats have been met with little to no response from the "peace-loving" left. The UN can barely conceal their yawns when Israel complains about it.
That is why Benjamin Netanyahu went to the UN and blasted them for their hypocrisy.

I have news for Iranian leaders: There is a countdown to destruction going on.
But the clock is not running on Israel. It is running on Iran.

Netanyahu is a former commando in the IDF. He has first-hand experience with commando raids and he fought in the Yom Kippur War in 1973. His brother was also an IDF commando, and was killed during Operation Entebbe, in which Israeli forces rescued over 100 passengers from a hijacked plane in Uganda.

Israel has vast experience running this type of commando activity.
In 1981, Operation Opera was launched and it ended with Israeli pilots destroying nuclear facilities in Iraq.

Netanyahu is probably one of the strongest leaders in the world right now, and he will not tolerate aggression towards Israel. He was quoted as saying "It's 1938, and Iran is Germany, and Iran is racing to arm itself with atomic bombs." It sounds like he has made up his mind.

Iran is about to experience the Sword of David.

Fearful liberals fret that this could be the start of a Third World War.

It is possible, but unlikely. Iran has very few friends.
And Israel has a very big friend. With a big, big stick.

Socialism always leads to this....

The Big Government policies of the City of Bell eventually led to corruption.
Tainted, corrupt officials couldn't keep their hands off of the taxpayers money.
Like good little Democrats, they kept voting themselves a bigger and bigger slice of the pie.

When the citizens found out, it was total chaos.
The Council Members are lucky that they didn't get physically assaulted.
The people of Bell are enraged.

This is what happens when you elect criminals/Democrats.

Saying "No" to the "Death Mosque"

If you look at the above photo you will see the location of the proposed Cordoba House Mosque (a.k.a. "The Death Mosque"). When Muslim terrorists piloted commercial airliners into the World Trade Center buildings on September 11th, some of the debris from the attack came raining down on the building in question. It is, without a doubt, part of the crime scene.

Yesterday our questionably loyal President, Mr. Obama, had the audacity to basically spit in the faces of the family members of those killed on 9/11 by basically saying "Yeah, go ahead and build it".

As a Conservative, I am quick to understand President Obamas restatement of basic legal rights -- that the followers of the Muslim faith have every right to worship as they choose, as long as they are not harming others. However, his lack of general understanding of the symbolism involved is mind-boggling. As former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich stated on Fox News..."We wouldn't let the Nazis build a museum next to the Museum of Tolerance. We wouldn't let the Japanese put a shrine next to the USS Arizona."

Sarah Palin, being interviewed in Alaska, mentioned how "thousands of Americans are still suffering the pain of losing loved ones on 9/11".

Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin are exactly right.
They have the moral clarity to say what needs to be said.
Just because it is legal to do something doesn't make it a good idea.

A "Death Mosque" at the World Trade Center site is exactly that -- a bad, bad idea.
It is an intentional provocation, and a slap in the face to all Americans.
It is a celebration of the death of thousands of Americans at the hands of Muslims.
It is the Muslims declaring victory over America.
Building a shiny new Mosque on our land, while the WTC site stands ghostly silent, and vacant.

City officials in New York City need to deny the building permits for this Mosque.
There are already 100 Mosques in New York City.
Practitioners of Islam can follow their faith in another location.

Not so fast, Walter Moore!

In one of his recent blog posts, former Mayoral Candidate Walter Moore foresees a future in which City Council Members Jose Huizar and Tony Cardenas are defeated in their upcoming elections in March 2011.

In response to this blog post I say...not so fast, Walter Moore!

Huizar and Cardenas are, indeed, weak and may possibly be defeated in the next election - however - this is far from a foregone conclusion. I wish I could be more optimistic, but Los Angeles has a horrific record when it comes to re-electing the incompetent or those with criminal dreams and aspirations.

For example...

Shoved by the labor unions into an office that he was unfit for, an incompetent and morally bankrupt buffoon named Antonio Villaraigosa continues to "serve" us as Mayor of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles can't even avoid electing people who are totally bereft of talent, including degenerates like Ed Reyes and Jan Perry.

Hell .. even the recently indicted scumbag from the 7th District, Richard Alarcon, was allowed to continue his one-man crime spree from 2007 until 2010.

No, it is difficult to be optimistic about the political future of Los Angeles.

All we can do is hang in there, and keep fighting, and hope the tide will turn.

You Socialists NEVER LEARN.

Well, now I've done it. My testy comments about Paul Koretz, a.k.a."The Cat Whisperer", have made their way across the oceans and people are getting a bit critical about these comments.

Evidently, I don't have too many new fans in the UK, as people there are already attacking me and trying to prevent my election to the 4th Council District. I'm probably the ONLY Los Angeles political figure who is getting bashed on two continents!

Wow.

I find it darkly comical that these nitwits who are so opposed to the minor surgery of declawing a cat are the first to run to vets to get their pets surgically neutered. That's liberal thinking for you.
One type of surgery on a pet is totally OK... but a different surgery?
My God...the horror!

(And by the way, I don't hate cats. See photo above.)

Below is my response to these English pinheads.

"If a government has the power to tell you that you can't get your cat declawed, then they have the power to tell you that you have to wear purple clothing every Thursday. It is insanity and an unreasonable interference and a bizarre desire to control every aspect of the lives of others.

I'm not a fan of declawing, but to ban it is an outrageous abuse of government power over free individuals.

You Socialists NEVER LEARN.

Too much government eventually makes everyone miserable."

Pence: More spending and bailouts won't mean more jobs

This is video of Indiana Congressman Mike Pence laying it on the line.

More spending and more bailouts will not mean more jobs.
Most Washington funding is eaten up by corruption, anyway.

Pence is one of the rising stars in the GOP and he is a dark horse for the 2012 GOP nomination.

Why Steve Cooley must arrest Robert Rizzo

Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley has a lot on his plate recently. After the indictment of sitting Los Angeles City Councilman Richard Alarcon made a lot of headlines this week, Cooley may have to shoot for an even higher profile case.

The breaking scandal in the City of Bell - a small suburb of Los Angeles with 40,000 residents - is a warning sign of the growing face of public corruption. Members of the "political class" in California are getting out of control. There are many public officials who are treating taxpayer funds like their own personal pocketbook. These people have to be arrested and prosecuted. It is crucial if public officials are to maintain that there is any integrity whatsoever in local governments in the future.

It is my opinion that District Attorney Steve Cooley needs to arrest and prosecute City of Bell City Manager Robert Rizzo, Assistant City Manger Angela Spaccia, and Police Chief Randy Adams.

In front of a jury, their lawyers will argue that this was all OK, that it was approved by the voters of Bell - where very few people actually bother to vote.

Cooley can counter with my argument, that this was a crime against all taxpayers in the State of California.
Rizzo will be pensioner #1 in the rankings of highest paid.
This is a disgrace and a slap in the face to all Californians.

This is illogical and wrong to allow them to profit from their crimes. At taxpayer expense.
Cooley has to step in and end this charade.
A jury of logical, taxpaying citizens will want to throw them under the jail, not just in it.

A few months ago I was seen on TV35 warning City Council that Richard Alarcon was a criminal and that he needed to be arrested. I warned that the entire City operations could be tied up with lawsuits because of his fraudulent service as the City Council Member from the 7th District - a district he found too distasteful to actually live in.

Soon enough, law enforcement got the idea, and Alarcon is now facing prison.

Let's see how long it takes them to get their act together on these miscreants from Bell.

The Pixie makes her move

City Controller Wendy Greuel recently released data on City salaries to the media.

This is a positive thing. Clarity and transparency are good things in elected, democratic governments.

However, I am a bit suspicious of her action. I think there is a hidden agenda here.

Wendy Greuel wants to be Mayor of Los Angeles.

That's right. It's not a big surprise. Especially if you're a member of the political "in crowd" here in town.

In politics, it is never too early to think about the next move on the chess board.

Wendy Greuel can now claim to be the most transparent and ethical politician in L.A.
I don't know if that is true, but she can make the claim that she "was the one who posted all the City salaries for voters to see..." It might ring a bell with voters...or... it might not.
Certainly, after the scandal rocking the City of Bell, it seems like a good publicity move.

The problem with Wendy Greuels candidacy for Mayor in 2013 is that she will face a crowded and aggressive field. Plus, she has not shown the toughness or cruelty necessary for that type of leadership.

Example: our current Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa. A straight-up gangster.

Villaraigosa spent the years 2005-2009 cheating on his wife, bankrupting the City, running around the country and traveling internationally on unnecessarily extravagant jet-setting trips, hogging every microphone and camera in sight, and letting the DWP treat him and the City Council like a pimp treats a prostitute.

In 2009, Villaraigosa gave the middle finger to voters and hundreds of civic organizations and refused to appear at any campaign events. Naturally, in a corrupt city like Los Angeles, he was re-elected.

Hell, recently-indicted Councilman Richard Alarcon didn't even have an opponent in 2009.
That is how bad things are here in L.A.

No, Wendy Greuel hasn't shown this type of utter contempt for voters, so I think it will be difficult for her to win. Not impossible...she has a chance...just difficult.

Newt in 90 seconds

Newt Gingrich explains in 90 seconds why Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid cannot do anything right. Their hatred of success is the essence of class warfare.

They are declaring war on the successful people in America.
And it will have a catastrophic effect on the American economy.

Why would anyone open a business or risk their savings when the government has declared its intentions to steal their livelihoods from them?

Paul Koretz: "The Cat Whisperer"

One of the most disturbing acts of lunacy I've seen recently by an L.A. City Council member ( and there have been many of them) is the recent decision by 5th District Council Member Paul Koretz to make a motion banning the practice of declawing cats. It passed, for some odd reason.

How in the world does Koretz believe he has the right to create such a freedom-stealing piece of City legislation?

He is trying to control the way a pet owner interacts with his/her own pet. It is insanity!

Question: Whose rights are he trying to protect? The owners? No, he's trampling on those rights.

Answer: He's trying to protect the rights of those precious kitties!

We need to examine the results of his work here.

1) Does this law actually accomplish anything?

No. Owners who want to get their cats declawed will simply drive to Pasadena or Santa Monica, or Glendale and have it done there.

2) Where is the harm?

The harm here is to practicing Veterinarians who use declawing as part of their practice.
They lose income, and may have to lay off staff...further harming employment in Los Angeles.

I'm not saying declawing cats is a great idea, but sometimes that is the only option. Sometimes the owners are elderly who can't get scratched because of immuno-system issues. Or maybe the cat is being violent towards another pet. Declawing seems reasonable to me when there are limited alternatives. Better declawing than rather having the cat turned into the pound or destroyed.

But Paul Koretz doesn't see it that way. He is a "limousine liberal" who wants to dictate the lifestyles of others, then hop into his limo and speed away.

For this reason, he has earned his new nickname...

PAUL KORETZ : THE CAT WHISPERER

Tricky Dick Alarcon: Not so tricky after all

In what has become a glorious, historic day for voters in Los Angeles, fraudulent City Council Member/career criminal Richard Alarcon was dragged in front of a grand jury yesterday and INDICTED on 18 counts of felony voter registration fraud. His wife was also charged with several offenses.

For years it had been an open secret that Richard Alarcon had been misrepresenting himself to the voters, and to the City Ethics officials. He had been registered to vote and claimed to live in Panaroma City, in the 7th Council District -- but he actually lived in a different location in Sun Valley, in Council Member Paul Krekorians 2nd Council District.

Alarcon finally got busted for this fraud because some deranged homeless man broke into the empty Panorama City house and started living there. Alarcon had to call the police to remove him. Then, months later, the same guy did the same thing again. This drew a lot of unnecessary attention to the situation.

I, myself, added fuel to the fire when I went down to City Council and blasted them about this issue.

I rang the bell and demanded Alarcons resignation months ago. Then I blasted City officials for doing nothing about a clearly criminal situation. I think it was when I talked about voters suing the City that they actually got their act together. Alarcons actions have now put the City in deep legal trouble as his actions may invalidate months of previous City Council votes and decisions.

I could not be happier about the demise of a career criminal like Alarcon. A man who disguised himself as a politician. Alarcon knew very well that only chumps steal with a gun. The very best professional criminals steal with a pen. And a ballot box.

Alarcon is going to be found guilty. He is guilty. I hope he does time.
He has done irreparable harm to the voters of the 7th District. And he has harmed the reputation of the City Council...( if that is, indeed, possible).

Want to know how they will convict Alarcon?
Testimony from the neighbors and Alarcons own cell phone records.

District Attorney Steve Cooley can subpoena the cell phone records of Alarcon and his wife.
Alarcon and his wife can tell all the lies they want, but technical data will tell a different story.
Phone company records will show that Alarcons and his wifes cell phones have been "pinging" off of the towers next to the Sun Valley home. Pinging at 2 a.m. , 5 a.m. etc... Every day. Every week. Non-stop.
And data will show they were never being used off the towers next to the Panorama City home.
Not once in three years. Case Closed.

Confronted with this damning evidence, Alarcon should resign immediately from City Council and there should be a special election held to fill his seat.

I hope District Attorney Steve Cooley will not allow a plea bargain after all of Alarcons lies.
I hope he works for a conviction.

The City will say goodbye to Tricky Dick Alarcon... the man I called the "Fredo Corleone" of City politics.

CD 4 Candidacy Official

I went down to City Hall today and filed my initial paperwork to make official my candidacy for the 4th City Council seat. Me, Stephen Box, and Tom La Bonge so far.

I just missed Richard Alarcon getting taken over to the Criminal Courts building.

I would have paid good money to see that "perp walk".

I've dreamed about Alarcon going to prison. And now it might finally be coming true.

America facing Constitutional crisis over immigration

The United States of America is rapidly approaching a crisis point over illegal immigration.

A corrupt and incompetent Federal government that has done a piss-poor job of maintaining our borders is now lecturing individual States about what they can and cannot do concerning immigration enforcement.

A Sheriff in Arizona, Paul Babeu, recently unloaded on the Feds in the media.

“Our own government has become our enemy and is taking us to court at a time when we need help,” Babeu said.

The sheriff was referring to the law suits filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and the U.S. Department of Justice challenging the state’s new immigration law.

“What’s very troubling is the fact that at a time when we in law enforcement and our state need help from the federal government, instead of sending help they put up billboard-size signs warning our citizens to stay out of the desert in my county because of dangerous drug and human smuggling and weapons and bandits and all these other things and then, behind that, they drag us into court with the ACLU,” Babeu said.

The Jennerjahn Report is quite certain that this is all leading to a massive confrontation about States Rights.

I personally support the States. Our Federal Government repeatedly violates the Tenth Amendment.

Jose Aguilar takes control

This is a photo of newly elected Boyle Heights Neighborhood Council President Jose Aguilar.

Jose is a friend, and a good man. I'm glad to see him getting recognition from his community.

He is an independent thinker, and he respects the rule of law.

Jose was involved in a very close election for this post, and I am certain that if he had lost, he would have congratulated his opponent and stepped aside.

I guarantee you that he would never come storming into a meeting six months later and demand to vote out every officer that had been previously elected.

That would be weird. Jose would never do that.

He is a man of courage and character.

Congratulations to Jose Aguilar!

Krekorian: L.A.'s most devious Councilman

Well, by now some of you may have heard that City Councilman Paul Krekorian pulled off a maneuver recently that is done only in the rarified air of the truly corrupt political figure.

Krekorian voted to approve an amending motion to matters submitted concerning the REAP program.

The he turned around and asked for another vote and voted against it.

Pure scumbag move. Corrupt politician.

City Activist Zuma Dogg went crazy about it on his blog.

Krekorian is truly one of L.A.s most devious and dangerous Councilmen.

I knew this was coming. A politician who is willing to give the middle finger to the voters of the 43rd Assembly District just months after they elected him has no character, no pride, and no shame.

Morally bankrupt. He will do anything.

I warned voters not to vote for him. They didn't listen.

I warned them that in voting for Krekorian, they would be choosing a residency-averse, state-bankrupting, job-abandoning, opportunity-chasing, career-climbing, tantrum-throwing, profanity-using, hypocrisy-displaying, prisoner-releasing, freedom-stealing, budget-destroying Socialist .

Now, they suffer under the reign of terror of this corrupt tyrant.
