After a few hours around D.C., I hurried back to the Marriott to make sure that I didn't miss some of the evening events. When I entered the lobby, I saw people swarming around someone on the lower level like they were following a rock star. It turned out that it was Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. People seemed like they couldn't get enough of him.
Phil Jennerjahn was the 2012 Republican Nominee for U.S. Congress in Californias 28th District.

My email to Paul Krekorian
It was ignored. About what I figured.

Mayor Sam blogger Michael Higby recently decided to end his blog.
It had become a focal point of Los Angeles politics.
His rather one-sided support of your candidacy in the 2nd District may have helped drive hundreds of people to support your election.
I am asking you to honor him with a City Appreciation Certificate and five minutes of praise at a future Council Meeting.
Thank You
Phil Jennerjahn
Zuma Dogg is the only good thing at City Council lately
Zuma Dogg and his hilarious rant about Janice Hahn was the funniest thing happening this week at City Council, which otherwise was pretty dreadful. I love the fact that he ate his Medical Marijuana cookie and proceeded to blast Janice Hahn with his mouth full. The Council deserved this one.

Watson to call it quits this morning
Fantastic news for all freedom-loving Americans today as Socialist Congresswoman Diane Watson calls it a career and hangs up her title. One of the worst Congressional members in history, Watson received a rating of 4 out of a possible 100 from the ACU. Watson was also featured prominently in national news recently for her fawning praise of Communist dictator Fidel Castro.

"I am personally liable" admits Villaraigosa
At least he got one thing right. He is liable for doing such a terrible job as Mayor.
The 11% Mayor who got 9% of the registered voters to re-elect him.
If the recall hits the target signatures needed, he will be gone in November.
Worst. Mayor. Ever.
It is really difficult to watch this BS from a totally incompetent elected official.

Super Bowl Sunday - Geaux Saints!!
It's early on Super Bowl Sunday. I will start out my day and soon be out getting signatures for my petition for running for Congress. Super Bowl Sunday should be a great time to catch people at home.... just a few hours before game time. It's not easy getting Republican signatures in my district.... some precincts on my voter registration data sheets didn't have any! But I'm getting close to the finish line and hopefully I will be able to finish up today and turn them in at Norwalk this week.
