Memo to Dianne Feinstein & Bob Costas:

The Second Amendment exists to protect us from exactly the type of tyranny inflicted by British forces on American Colonists in the mid-to-late 1700s. Our Founding Fathers never wanted to see that again.

Sure, the misuse of firearms can cause misery. But the lack of them can cause a lot worse.

History has taught us that unarmed populations are the ones that are most likely to be enslaved and slaughtered.
