I hope people who voted for him are ashamed of themselves. (I don't have that problem)
I knew this eviction was going to be a problem when they announced it ahead of time. It should have been a sudden sweep in the middle of the night. This "scheduling" of the eviction gave protesters time to build their forces.
I was down at City Hall just a few hours before the midnight deadline. I was stunned to see about 1,000 hippies on the steps of the south side of City Hall. They would need hundreds of police to move them all.
So, of course, the pansy that Villaraigosa is...it's not going to happen.
At least not tonight.
By the way...who wears a scarf... on a day when it was 82 degrees in Los Angeles?
