Conservatives unite to support Freedom of Religion, Speech

Conservatives across the country responded yesterday to the recent hateful/threatening tirades by the Mayors of Boston and Chicago by showing their own values and faith.

Conservatives nationwide responded to Mike Huckabees request for a national day of appreciation -- and flooded the fast food chain Chick-fil-A with enormous amounts of business in order to show their support for the chain owners support of traditional religious values.

The brouhaha erupted last week when the Chick-fil-A owner stated during an interview that he believed in traditional marriage. As a result, the Mayors of Chicago and Boston made sneering, condescending remarks and veiled threats against Chick-fil-A.

Social media activists took that assault on religious freedom and ran with it.

Facebook and Twitter exploded yesterday with reports of Chick-fil-A stands across the nation being swamped by more business than they could handle. Several stores ran out of food.

I myself took part, purchasing two sandwiches at the Sunset and Highland location in Hollywood. There was a small group of protesters there advocating the gay lifestyle, but they were heavily outnumbered by the hungry customers at Chick-fil-A.

At the end of the day, Conservatives had stood up for their values and shown their financial might. Yesterday there were no arrests and no problems whatsoever with Conservative activism.

Liberals? Eh...
