RINOs trash freedom, ban dissent in Tampa

Some pretty hideous behavior was on display yesterday at the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

RINOs in the Republican Party decided to unilaterally change the nominating and convention rules and ban the voices of the Ron Paul supporters.

Shutting the Paul supporters out only makes Romney and the RNC look incredibly bad and drives a wedge between them and a good chunk of the party supporters.

I am quite disgusted with my own party right now. We have had a long history of contentious conventions. Another one wouldn't be the end of the world.

It makes me think the current leadership of the GOP is made up of very small people.

If you won't defend the freedom of people who oppose you.... then there is very little hope for you to be a moral leader.

There is a bigger picture here that Romney and the party are not seeing.

I liked what a delegate said to the LA Times....

Wiselot Rouzard, a delegate from Nevada and a Paul supporter, compared the situation to Adolf Hitler taking power in Germany.

“There’s nothing American about what just happened,” he said. “This is the death of the Republican Party.”
